Kaelin Quarles and Addison Holm each registered four goals as the Culver-Stockton women's lacrosse team recorded a season-opening 11-8 victory over Hendrix College Saturday afternoon in Conway, Ark.

Quarles and Holm scored two goals each in the first period and Tennsyn Roman notched one goal to lift the Wildcats to a 5-1 lead after 15 minutes of action. Holm scored her third goal early in the second quarter and Quarles notched two more goals in the second quarter while Bella Olson scored in the final minute to give C-SC a 9-4 halftime lead.

The Wildcats were held to two goals total in the second half with Holm scoring first in the third quarter while Rohman scored her second goal in the fourth quarter to deal the victory.

Olson and Mia Naughton garnered two assists each while Quarles and Rohman each added a helper in the game. Victoria Acord made six saves to to earn her first collegiate victory in goal.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play at Missouri Baptist University on Thursday, Feb. 20. The opening draw is slated for 4 p.m in St. Louis.
