Men's Soccer Doesn't Record a Shot on Goal in 3-0 Loss to CMU
The Culver-Stockton men's soccer team did not put a shot on goal in a 3-0 loss to Central Methodist University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference game at Ellison Poulton Stadium Saturday night.
The Wildcats recorded eight shots in the game; however, none were on frame. Irgen Hasanaj and Jakson Baber led the Wildcats with two shots each.
Central Methodist scored twice in the first half, in the 33rd and 37th minutes, and led 2-0 at the intermission. The Eagles added a third goal in the 50th minute.
CMU outshot the Wildcats 15-8 overall, including 6-2 in the first half. C-SC's Ricardo Fischbach made four saves in the game.
The Wildcats, now 2-5-4 overall and 1-4-2 in the Heart, is slated to play a non-conference game at Columbia College Wednesday night in Columbia, Mo. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Columbia, Mo.
