Bloom, Pollard Named Academic All-District by CSC

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were released in December 16 and recognized the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.  

For the 2025 season, two Culver-Stockton College players garnered Academic All-District® honors. Named to the list were Lauren Bloom (Rochester, Ill. / Rochester HS),  and Victoria Pollard (Dardenne Prairie, Mo. / St, Dominic HS / McKendree University).

Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 13.
 
A senior setter studying marketing, Bloom was named to the all-district team for the second time in her career. A three-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Bloom was named an honorable mention all-conference selection for a second time in her career after recording team-high in assists (471) and service aces (42). Bloom, who participated in all 31 matches and 107 sets this season, also had 156 digs and 28 kills from her setter position.

In her career, Bloom finished with 2,507 career assists, becoming the ninth player to register 2,500 set assists in program history. She also finished with 764 digs, 100 career kills and 47 service aces.

Pollard, a junior outside hitter, was named to the all-district team for the first time in her career. A health science major, Pollard appeared in all 31 and 107 sets played by the Wildcats this season. She totaled a team-best 245 kills, an average of 2.29 kill per set, and had a team-high 327 digs, an average of 3.06 per set.

In addition, Pollard recorded 29 service aces and 28 blocks. Pollard was selected to the all-conference team as an honorable mention selection for the second consecutive season in 2025.
