CMU Sweeps Wildcat Netters for Second Time this Season

The Culver-Stockton women's volleyball team was swept by Central Methodist for the second time this season, falling 25-17, 25-13, 25-16, Tuesday night at Charles Field House in Canrton, Mo.

The Wildcats had a difficult time attacking against the taller and more athletic Eagles, who recorded 42 kills to the Wildcats' 16 terminations. CMU also held a 54-37 edge in digs while also registering 10- service aces to C-SC's four.

Mikayla Ziemianski led the Wildcat attack at the net with five terminations. Emma Daleen and Zoe Irvin each recorded four kills each. Jetzabelle Rivera led the back line with 11 digs, while Gracie George and Danika Castaneda had two service aces each.

The Wildcats will play the second of a three-match homestead this Friday against Park University at Charles Field House. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
