Road-weary Wildcats Fall to CMU in Three Sets
The Culver-Stockton College women's volleyball team lost a Heart of America Athletic Conference road match at Central Methodist University, 25-19, 25-20, 25-16 Tuesday night in Fayette, Mo.
The Wildcats managed just 24 kills overall, compared to 52 for CMU, with Victoria Pollard leading the way with five terminations. Zoe Irvin and Emma Daleen totaled four kills, while Layla Lojas recorded two service aces.
The Wildcats, who fall to 6-10 overall, including 1-8 in true road matches, will attempt to get back on track this Saturday, Sept. 27, against William Woods University at Charles Field House. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. C-SC is this season at Charles Field House.
