The Culver-Stockton College women's soccer team placed two players on the 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Team, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Forward Alayna Chandler-Gutierrez and defender Savannah Stauffer were each named to the second team for their play this season.

Chandler-Gutierrez, a junior from Valley Center, Calif. (Valley Center HS), registered a team-high 29 points this season, scoring 14 goals and adding one assist. The 14 goals are tied for second most in the conference and are the most by a Wildcat player since Jesse Thomas in 2004. In addition, five of her 14 goals were game-winning tallies, which I also tied for second in the conference.

Stauffer, a senior from Troy, Ill. (Triad HS), was a stalwart on the defensive backline helping the Wildcat defense record eight shutouts this season. Stauffer also added one goal and two assists. This is the second time Stauffer has earned all-conference honors, garnering second team honors after her freshman season in 2021.     

The Wildcats completed the 2024 regular season with a 10-6-2 overall record and a 4-6-1 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and qualifying for the conference postseason tournament for the first time since 2021.
