The Culver-Stockton College women's soccer team was outshot 16-4 in a 2-0 Heart of America Athletic Conference loss to Benedictine College Saturday night at Ellison Poulton Stadium in Canton,Mo.
The Ravens netted both goals in the first half when they had a 10-1 advantage in shots. The only shot by the Wildcats came from Ellie Wiehardt when she hit the right post with C-SC trailing 1-0.
The Wildcats did force eight corner kicks and had an 8-7 edge in the category. Both teams had four corner kicks each in the first half.
The Wildcats will look to rebound from their first loss of the season this Wednesday, Sept. 18, when they play at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
