Addison Holm Honored as Offensive Player of the Week by IWLCA
Culver-Stockton College attacker Addison Holm has been named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NAIA Offensive Player of the Week after her performance in a game against Saint Ambrose (Iowa) last week.
Holm, a freshman from Lake St. Louis, Mo. (Timberland HS), registered a career-high eight goals and added two assists for a total of 10 points in the Wildcats' 16-15 loss to the Bees. Holm also was able to pick up three groundballs, control four draws and cause a turnover.
For the season, Holm has appeared in eight games, scoring 34 goals and adding nine assists for 43 total points. Holm leads the Wildcats with 25 groundballs and 25 draw controls.
The Wildcats (4-4) are back in action this Wednesday, March 19, against Mount Mercy University at Ellison Poulton Stadium. The opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
