Rachel Moore Named Bowler of the Week

Culver-Stockton College junior Rachel Moore earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Bowler of the Week for the first time this season after her performance at the Kegal ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill., last weekend.

Moore, of Keokuk, Iowa (Keokuk HS), earned her fifth career player of the week honor after capturing the individual championship at the Tier 1 Tournament held at Stardust Lanes Moore totaled 1,111 pins in her five games for an average of 222.2 pins per game.

Moore opened the day by rolling a 189 game and then followed that up with 276 and 210 games in games two and three, respectively. She totaled a 214 game in the fourth game before ending her day with a 222 game in the fifth game.   

Moore, who earned all-tournament accolades for her top five finish, has three all-tournament nods this season and 15 all-tournament selections in her three-year career.

As a team, the Wildcats finished 18th overall among the 55 women's teams competing in the tournament with 7,472 total pins gathered between the five team games Saturday and the 16 baker games Sunday.

C-SC is scheduled to compete in the Eagle Invitational hosted by Avila University this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24-25, at Aaron's Family Fun Center in Belton, Mo.
