Bio
Jamie Horstman is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team in 2026-27. A native of northeast Missouri, Horstman graduated from Scotland County High School in 2006. She began her coaching career at her alma mater during the 2009-2010 season, assisting at the varsity level and serving as head coach of the junior varsity team.
Horstman then attended Quincy University where she graduated summa cum laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. While attending Quincy, Horstman served two seasons as a student assistant with the women’s basketball program.During her tenure, the team achieved a 48-12 record, capturing two Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championships and making two appearances in the NCAA Division II tournament.
Since graduating college, Horstman has held coaching roles at varying levels in and around northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa. In addition to assisting with youth camps and individual player development, she coached 3 seasons within the Clark County Girls’ program in Kahoka, MO and most recently, a couple seasons with the middle school girls’ program at Van Buren County Community School District in Keosauqua, IA.
Horstman currently resides in Mt. Sterling, IA with her husband of 9 years, Kyle, and their 3 children: Jade, Haley and Ryan.
