Hunt Named to All-Heart Softball Team
Culver-Stockton College placed one player on the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference Softball Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.
Outfielder Kataleena Hunt earned honorable mention accolades for her play throughout the 2025 season. It is the second straight year Hunt has been named to the all-conference team, earning second team honors in 2024.
Hunt, a junior from Williamsfield, Ill. (Williamsfield HS), started all 50 games for the Wildcats this season, batting a team-high .315 overall with 15 doubles, one triple and four home runs. She also led the team with 47 hits, 29 runs batted in, 22 runs scored, and eight stolen bases.
In 24 conference games, Hunt also hit .315 with eight doubles, two home runs and 13 runs batted in. She recorded 23 hits in 73 at-bats and scored 11 runs.
The Wildcats ended the 2025 campaign with an 11-39 overall record and a 4-20 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
