Roseberry Named Heart Pitcher of the Week after Making Successful Season Debut
Culver-Stockton College pitcher Emma Roseberry has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for her performance in a 5-1 victory over Briar Cliff University Feb. 26.
Roseberry, a junior from Wentzville, Mo. (Holt HS), made her first appearance since offseason shoulder surgery and hurled a two-hitter against the Chargers. Roseberry fanned 12 batters and walked two to earn the complete game victory.
The Wildcats, (3-3) are scheduled to host Hannibal-LaGrange University in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The first game is slated to begin at 12 p.m. at Himsl Field in Canton.
