Men's Volleyball Concludes Season with Loss to Missouri Baptist

The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team finished the 2026 season with a home loss to Missouri Baptist University Tuesday night at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats put up a strong fight but a few lapses in each set were different as the Spartans registered a 25-21, 25-22, 25-21 straight set victory.

C-SC was hurt by the Missouri Baptist service game as the Spartans recorded seven service aces to the Wildcats' zero. However, the Wildcats made up for it with just nine service error compared to 16 for the visitors.

A balanced offensive attack paced the Wildcats, who had four players with six or more kills in the match. Cooper Varner contributed eight terminations while Henry Reeves totaled seven kills. Rio Victor and Clyde Harold each garnered six kills each, while Matt Reese had 19 set assists.

C-SC, like it had all season, had a strong defensive night at the net with 8.5 team blocks. Zach Kowalewicz tallied four block assists to lead the way but Victor and Bill Frederick Clarke posted three block assists each.

The Wildcats finish the season with a 4-24 overall record and finish 2-17 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Missouri Baptist is 16-13 overall and 9-10 in the Heart.
