Wildcats Unable to Solve UHSP
The Culver-Stockton men's volleyball team committed nine more hitting errors than kills in a straight set loss to the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Tuesday night at UHSP Gymnasium in St. Louis, Mo.
The Wildcats registered 24 kills overall but had 33 attack errors for a .100 hitting percentage in the 25-15, 25-17, 25-13 loss to the Eutectics, who sweep the season series for the third consecutive season.
The Wildcats were led by Rio Victor with seven kills followed by Cooper Varner with five and Malachi Gnade with four terminations, respectively. Matt Reese totaled 21 set assists on the 24 kills.
C-SC will face another stiff test Friday when they travel to Parkville, Mo., to face third-ranked Park University. The opening serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
