Men's Soccer Falls to Graceland on the Road
The Culver-Stockton College men's soccer team was shut out for the second consecutive game in a 4-0 loss to Graceland University Tuesday night in Lamoni, Iowa.
The Yellowjackets netted two goals in the first half and the score stayed that way until the final eight minutes when the hosts added two more goals to account for the final score.
The Wildcats garnered six overall shots, three on goal, and were outshot 14-6 overall and 10-3 on frame. C-SC goalkeeper Ryan Houston made six saves in the game, including five in the second half as the visitors were outshot 8-3 in the period.
The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Wildcats, who host two-time defending national champion Central Methodist (Mo.) University this Saturday, Sept. 26, at Ellison Poulton Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
