Men's Golf Competes at Verhille Invitational
The Culver-Stockton men's golf team participated in the Verhille Invitational at Old Kinderhook Golf Course in Camdenton Mo., March 17-18.
The Wildcats finished at 139-over par as a team, shooting 66-over par Monday and 73-over par on Tuesday to place 18th in the field. William Woods (Mo.) won the event with a score of 27-over par team score.
Individually, Brady Walker was the top finisher for the Wildcats, carding a 36 hole total of 17-over par 159 to place 53rd overall. Walker shot eight 79 over Monday and nine over 80 on Tuesday on the par 71 course.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete in the UHSP Invitational April 7-8 at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Ill.
