Men's Bowling Places 13th at Mid-States Collegiate Championships
The Culver-Stockton men's bowling team competed at the MidStates Collegiate Championships Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19, in Wichita, Kan.
The Wildcats finished 13th among the 29 teams competing in the varsity division with 8,472 total pins. C-SC collected 5,547 pins in six team games Saturday, an average of 924.5 pins per game, and 2,925 pins in 16 baker games, an average of 182.8 pins per game Sunday.
Individually, Levi Staley earned a top 15 finish, placing 13th overall with 1,245 pins in six games. Staley averaged 207.5 pins per game and rolled games of 242 and 237 during the day Saturday.
Jake Evitts finished in 32nd place with 1,182 total pins in six games, an average of 197 pins per game. Evitts had games of 236 and 232.
The Wildcats continue their season next weekend, Oct. 25-26, at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge at Gage Bowl in Topeka, Kan.
