Men's Bowling Season Ends at National Tournament

The Culver-Stockton College men's bowling team saw its season come to an end Friday morning in the consolation bracket at the NAIA National Bowling Championships in Sterling Heights, Mich.

The 12th-seeded Wildcats, who lost to Milligan (Tenn.) in Thursday's opening round, faced third-seeded Lawrence Tech (Mich.) in the consolation bracket Friday morning. The Wildcats got off to a slow start against the Blue Devils, who had played and lost earlier in the day, and failed to win a game in the best of seven series.

LTU captured the first game 256-169 before the Wildcats posted their best score of the series in game two. However, that score wasn't enough for victory as they fell 238-202. Trailing 2-0 in the series, C-SC put up a good fight in game three, falling 190-183, before the Blue Devils rolled to a 272-191 victory in game four to eliminate the Wildcats.
