Dixon, Pollard Named September's Student Athletes of the Month

Culver-Stockton College football player Kyle Dixon, and women's volleyball player Victoria Pollard have been named Primo's Pizza and Subs Student-Athletes of the Month for September.

Dixon, a senior receiver from Carlinville, Ill. (Carlinville HS/ SIU-Edwardsville), is a two-year letterwinner with the football program. Dixon was named to the first team for the second consecutive season after he led the Heart with 83 receptions for 1,282 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 83 receptions were the fourth highest in school history, and 1,282 receiving yards were third most in school history for a single season. The 83 receptions were 31 more than the next wide receiver in the conference.

In addition, Dixon is the first wide receiver in school history to register two 1,000-yard receiving seasons. His 143 career receptions are sixth on the school's all-time list, while his 2,394 career receiving yards are second and his 24 receiving touchdowns are third on the all-time list. Dixon managed to compile these numbers in just two seasons with the Wildcats after transferring from SIU-Edwardsville.

Off the court, Dixon is pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He was named to the Provost's List during the 2024 fall semester.

Pollard, a junior from Dardenne Prairie, Mo. (St. Dominic HS / McKendree University), appeared in all 31 and 107 sets played by the Wildcats this season. She totaled a team-best 245 kills, an average of 2.29 kill per set, and had a team-high 327 digs, an average of 3.06 per set. In addition, Pollard recorded 29 service aces and 28 blocks. She was named to the all-conference team as an honorable mention selection for the second consecutive year.

Off the court, Pollard is pursuing a degree in health science. She was named a 2025 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

Dixon and Pollard are the first athletes to be named student-athletes of the month for the 2025-26 school year. The Wildcat Athletic Department picks two student-athletes (one male / one female) each month throughout the school year recognizing students for their academic and athletic achievements.
