Head Coach
3rd Season

Jeff Duvendeck was introduced as the 29th head coach of the Wildcat football program on July 6, 2011.

During his first two seasons as the head coach of the Wildcats, Duvendeck's teams have produced 15 all-conference players.

Duvendeck has 10 years of successful collegiate coaching experience in which he has been a part of three conference championship teams and one national championship team. His most recent success came last season as an offensive assistant at Michigan State University, which tied with the University of Wisconsin and Ohio State University for the Big Ten Conference title.

Prior to joining the MSU staff, Duvendeck spent four years at Northern Michigan University (2006-09) where he served as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Under his direction, the Wildcat offense averaged 31.6 points per game in 2009 and 415.7 total yards and 28.2 points in 2008. In addition, the Wildcats increased their scoring by 8.5 points per game, their rushing yardage by 64 yards per game, total yardage by 34 yards per game, and third down conversions by eight percent.

Duvendeck served at Michigan Tech University as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator from 2003-05. During his tenure, the Huskies won the 2004 conference title and advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs. While there, Duvendeck coached three NCAA Division II All-Americans, including two who were selected as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Offensive Lineman of the Year.

During the 2002 season, he served as a graduate assistant under Brian Kelly at Grand Valley State where he worked with the offensive line and helped the Lakers win the NCAA Division II National Championship.

A native of Flushing, Mich., Duvendeck spent the 2001 season as a graduate assistant at Tiffin (Ohio) University where he worked with the running backs.

A former running back at Central Michigan, he lettered in 2000 and earned his bachelor's degree in health promotion and rehabilitation in 2001. Duvendeck, who married the former Breanne Zaremba in July 2013,  is currently pursuing his master's degree in kinesiology.
