Culver-Stockton College junior Ryan Keller (Wentzville, Mo. / Timberland HS) has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season after his second place finish at the A.W. Tillinghast Intercollegiate in Kansas City, Mo.
Keller, who also earned the weekly honor March 21, was the top individual finisher among the 35 players presenting Heart of America Athletic Conference schools in the tournament. He carded a 3-over 147, shooting 72 and 75, to finish three strokes behind Erik Jonasson of Lindenwood-Belleville, who was the tournament medalist.
In three tournaments (six rounds) this spring, Keller is averaging 76.2 strokes per round. He has registered two top 5 finishes in the three tournaments. Over 18 rounds overall this year, Keller is averaging a876.6 strokes per round and has four top 10 finishes in eight tournaments.
The Wildcats return to action April 15-16 at the Beu/Mussato Invitational at Western Illinois University's Harry Mussato Golf Course in Macomb.
